Sandy Rosenblum
FOUNDER / OWNER

At the Law Offices of Sanford Rosenblum, I believe that catastrophically injured people and the families of fatal accident victims deserve personal attention from experienced attorneys. Sanford Rosenblum has been practicing law in New York for more than 25 years.

Sandy grew up in Cohoes, New York, and received his bachelor’s degree from Union College in 1958. In 1962 he was awarded his law degree from the University of Buffalo School of Law, where he was an editor for the Buffalo Law Review.

Sandy has a long history of achieving large recoveries for clients. In the mid-1980s, for example, he obtained $4.4 million for his client, a utility worker severely injured in a gas explosion. At the time this recovery was by far the Capital Region’s largest in a personal injury case. Also, by obtaining an innovative payment structure, Sandy was able to generate millions of additional dollars for his client and the client’s family.

More recently, Sandy took over a medical-negligence case that had languished for more than 15 years at another law firm. After assembling a team of renowned specialists from leading medical centers around the country, Sandy helped attain one of the largest recoveries for a brain-injured child ever obtained in upstate New York. In another case, he also helped assemble and led a team of technical experts and lawyers who were able to prove that a major automobile manufacturer failed to disclose critical evidence in a product-liability case.

In addition to his legal work, Sandy has long been active in many local and national charities. He is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA) and was recently honored as an ATLA “Stalwart.” He is also a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association and the New York State Bar Association. Sandy is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts as well as New York.
